FIRST HALF

second Grading Period was finally done. Being a senior student is a hard one. You must be the rule model among all. Well, I learned a lot of things specifically in ICT. I am fun on joining socializing sites but not on blogging. Before, I don’t have a blog account because I was thought it was boring. Then as we creating our accounts, I realize the advantages that I may get on it. First, it will enhance my English language, vocabulary skill and also my grammar. My writing skill is improving this time.
Honestly, there are no major problems that I’ve encountered. With my self-confidence, I can hold those responsibilities they have given to me without hindrances. I am a student of IV-Marconi from a Special Science Class. Meaning, I am holding a big responsibility but instead of being stresses, I just keep on smiling and keep on moving forward. In that case, everything will be perfectly done.
Moving on, I will continue the things that I’ve been started. I will maintain being a responsible student into a more responsible one. I will still do my very best in order to be admired. And that admiration will serve as my inspiration in continuing the journey of being a SENIOR STUDENT of ILOCOS SUR NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION

Nowadays, we are really progressive because of science. All the things which surround us are product of technology. Science can do anything as long as we use it in a nice way.

Science month has been arrived. How can you promote science as a helpful one?
Well, the theme “Energizing Science Clubbers for Sustainable Energy” made me think about its point. And upon my study, science must be developed deeply not only for the science clubbers but also for us, the students. Energy is connected to the theme. So let me define first what energy is?
Energy is defined as the ability to do work. It is often associated with movement. It is present in many forms. It can be transferred from one object into another yet we never see it.
In daily usage you hear of terms such as energy crisis, energy conservation, alternative energy and even Olympic energy. But what exactly is energy? What is its significance to us?
Look around you and try to identify things which you think have energy. What made you say that these things have energy? Does a television set have energy? Does a toy car have energy?
Energy is closely related to the concept of work. If something has energy then it can do work. Energy is a lot like skill or talent. We cannot see it but we can see evidence that it is there. We know that we have energy since we can move things around.
In connection of my simple explanation about energy is that we must know how to use it in a proper way and also know how to conserve energy. Promote and encourage the people regarding this matter so that science will always lead us to a BETTER LIFE.

MY TEACHER MY HERO

Teaching has always been regarded as the noblest profession. With teachers, professions become professions. Teachers are the brains behind the people who became experts or achieved a great deal. Teachers are the light of every person’s brain, the hearts of everyone and the voices that keep saying, “ Go on, you can do it.” The world will be in a big trouble if there will be no more teachers.
The school plays a very significant role in the development of the community. It is the school that offers education to the community people that will serve as their bridge to progress and development. But a school never been a school without the presence of teacher. Being a teacher is a big responsibility because they are the one who will inherit the facts and ideas which they know to us. Moreover, teachers are our second parents in school. They are handling hundreds of students. In that case, I salute them for they were able to guide and teach such that number of students. It takes hours for them to discuss a certain topic in front of those different faces of students. It is really a hard job but they are still keep on working for us to learn something.
All teachers deserve to become a hero. Teachers cannot avoid complaining about the hardship of teaching. But then, their feet are still standing on the ground of the school. Imagining thousands of learners who are waiting to learn and to be educated.

EVERYONE'S HERO

What is a hero? Are there special persons intended to be heroes? How can you be a hero?
We have heard about war heroes, historical heroes, sport heroes, action star heroes and many others who are idolized for their inspiring feats. Anyone could be a hero if he/she has distinctive qualities like honestly, perseverance, courage and other noble traits. We do not need the incredible strength of Captain Barbell, Superman or even The Avengers. We need to be strong about what we believe is right or good for everyone. You do not have to go to the battle field to make a last stand, as an English proverb says, “ A hero is a man who is afraid to runaway.”

In reality, we have our own heroes in life. For me, I considered my parent as my modern hero. I know that they don’t have any super powers but they have the power of love which they always give on us. They have done a remarkable deed. By simply working hard for us to live. To live in a better home, wearing better clothes, eating better foods and sending us to a better and secured school. My parent always sacrifice everything for the benefits of our family. They never leave us alone and they always carry us to the good path. I can’t explain the feeling of having a very loving and caring parent. I am really thankful to God for having them.
All of us can be a hero. There are simple ways; by showing good example, fighting for a cause, helping someone in need, following government orders and other things that will improve our neighborhood. According to Plato, “ A hero is born among hundred, a wise man is found among thousands, but an accomplished one might not be found even among a hundred thousand men.”

BUWAN NG WIKA

Language, the soul of a nation, the symbol of the heroic, sacrifices of the country’s heroes and heroines.

The foundation of the Philippine language can be traced back from the time our legendary forefather fought for the rights of the nature Filipinos from the abusive hands of greedy colonizers like the Spaniards. Our heroes and heroines sacrificed so much to the extent of expediting their lives just to awaken the dying and immersedly asleep state of mind and Nationalism of Filipinos.

Dr. Jose Rizal used the brilliance of his mind when he wrote the undying Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. These books made the Filipinos, the indios that the Spaniards are calling realized that their rights as persons are violated so they’ve learned to really fight for it.

Likewise, Andres Bonifacio used his dexterity in handling sword and guns to prove to these colonizers that the Filipinos are brave and fearless.

Nowadays, the Philippine language is widely utilized in all aspects of our society. In education, industry, business and tourism, the Philippine language has played and is still playing a significant role. A role that can never be accomplish by any language except ours- the Filipino language.

Our language, the Filipino language is an identity that makes us known and unique in the world.
